What we built

Multisure is a South Africa-based insurance business focused on affordable funeral cover and legal assistance. Its custom MLM web application manages the agent network and the monthly commission process.

The original application was built many years earlier by another party. We took over its maintenance and development and have supported it for more than seven years.

The challenge

An older application has to keep up with changing web technologies and security standards while the business keeps adding agents and features. It also had to protect user data in line with regional rules. The monthly agent commission report, which covers generation, verification and payment, was a particularly complex part of the system.
